Empty, rinse, and dry the base and tank every day. Once a week, get rid of any mineral buildup with vinegar or another solution suggested by the manufacturer, and disinfect the humidifier with a 10% bleach solution (follow the instructions for your specific model).
Humidifier commissioning
Professional humidifier commissioning is an essential element in obtaining the most from a humidification system. It will increase the unit's efficiency and operational lifetime.
Trueair offer a fully managed service by experienced and expert commissioning engineers. Prior to the commissioning Trueair provides a commissioning check list, risk assessment and method statement detailing the project. Once the humidifier has been installed the commissioning engineer will verify:
*Humidifier positioning *Air connections *Power connections *Water connections *Drainage The engineer will then liaise with the controls contractor to organise the unit's testing. After this the output will be checked and the humidity monitored to ensure the unit is performing exactly as per specifications.
