Why: Stagnant water can quickly develop bacteria, mold, and unpleasant odors.
How: At the end of each day, pour out any remaining water from both the tank and base. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Pro Tip: Use a soft cloth or sponge to gently wipe down the inside, then let both tank and base air dry completely before refilling.

Soak the base in a 1:1 mix of white vinegar and warm water for 15–20 mins. Scrub gently with a soft brush.

Mix 1 tsp bleach in 1 cup water, swish in the tank, let sit 20 mins, then rinse until odor-free.
